Job Description
Owner of Terapia's patient funnel from acquisition to retention. The job is growth: constant experimentation across the whole funnel, backed by hard numbers. This is not a structured PM and not a manage-from-a-distance lead; it's a hands-on, entrepreneurial operator who takes the patient side and makes it move.
Terapia is a two-sided marketplace: patients (demand) and therapists (supply). This role owns the patient side only, inside the Terapia project (not company-wide).
Find out more about Terapia on here: https://terapia.znanylekarz.pl/ & https://terapia.doctoralia.es/
How will you make an impact?
You own growth end-to-end—from acquisition to retention. You'll run experiments across marketing, product, and analytics, working closely with developers to build a growth engine. This isn't a marketing role or a traditional product role. It's a hands-on operating role for someone who loves finding growth through data, experimentation, and execution.
Acquisition. Find, prioritize, and test channels (SEM, Meta, influencers, podcasters, partnerships, organic). Run it through specialists, freelancers, or agencies — you brief them, steer them, and own the results.
Funnel & product. Map the funnel end to end, find where it leaks, and ship fixes that lift conversion and retention. You don't just spot what to improve — you drive it through to done, working with the dev team on product changes and with marketing on acquisition. You work hand in hand with three developers — not your reports, but Terapia is their only job, so it's a serious weapon in your hands.
Analytics. Own the numbers at every level:
know how and where tracking is set up;
pull data from different tools into one clear picture;
interpret it; and
see where the biggest growth is hiding.
SQL and basic coding are the baseline — what sets you apart is using AI fluently to dig in, build, and move faster.
Ownership. Run the patient side like a founder: set direction, move fast, decide without waiting for permission.
Qualifications
What will help you thrive?
You have a proven growth track record: you can show us a specific case where you drove growth with real, sizeable impact, and explain exactly why it worked.
You run on numbers, not gut: clear hypotheses, structured tests, and big bets where the upside is worth it.
You are deeply numbers-driven: you don't just pull data, you bring it together from different tools, make sense of it, and read where to push next. SQL is second nature; tools like Python/pandas, GA4, or Amplitude are in your hands, not someone else's.
You use AI fluently to go faster and deeper.
You are entrepreneurial: at ease in ambiguity, quick to act, and you get your hands dirty.
You work well with people: you don't manage a team, but you get the best out of developers, specialists, and partners, and people want to build with you.
This is a high-stakes bet: Terapia either breaks out strongly or it fails. We want someone who acts, not someone who asks permission at every step.
Success metrics
Ranked by priority:
Patient acquisition volume — the North Star.
Retention / LTV — quality of growth; guards against buying empty traffic.
CAC — efficiency and sustainability of the engine.
Revenue — in Terapia, revenue comes entirely from the patient side, so this is the bottom-line outcome the above roll up into.
Guardrail: volume is #1, but always read with retention — growth that doesn't retain doesn't count.
The team setup
A quick map of who's around this role (orientation, not an org chart):
Michał: head of Terapia; this role reports to him.
Three-person dev team: your closest collaborators on everything product and funnel.
Therapist Lead: owns the therapist (supply) funnel across countries.
You: own the whole patient funnel, from acquisition to retention.
You connect these dots: build with the developers, line up with the Therapist Lead so both sides of the marketplace pull together, and coordinate with the countries where it matters. A big part of the job is keeping all of this moving as one.
What to Expect from Our Hiring Process
We like to keep things transparent and efficient! Here’s what the process usually looks like (though it might vary slightly depending on the role):
