Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Public Affairs Specialist to join MioDottore’s team in Italy, supporting the company’s public affairs, institutional relations and stakeholder engagement activities.
The person will report directly to the Head of Public Affairs & Public Market Access, Italy and will contribute to the management of key institutional and regulatory dossiers relevant to the business, with a particular focus on digital health, healthcare innovation, artificial intelligence in healthcare, public-private partnerships and public market access.
How will you make an impact?
You will support the team in:
monitoring political, institutional and regulatory developments at national and regional level;
analysing legislation, parliamentary acts, institutional initiatives and regulatory developments relevant to the business;
preparing summaries, briefings, internal memos, policy briefs and management updates;
supporting the drafting of position papers, institutional positioning documents and public affairs materials;
contributing to stakeholder mapping and engagement across institutions, trade associations and the broader healthcare ecosystem;
supporting the organization of institutional meetings, working tables, events and stakeholder engagement activities;
contributing to the development of projects and partnerships with public entities, associations, scientific societies and other healthcare stakeholders;
supporting the function in public market access activities and in initiatives related to institutional and territorial projects;
working cross-functionally with internal teams to help align business priorities, regulatory developments and institutional positioning opportunities.
Qualifications
What will help you thrive?
We are looking for someone with 2–3 years of experience in areas such as:
public affairs
institutional relations
strategic consulting or public affairs consultancy
trade associations
companies operating in regulated sectors, ideally in healthcare, pharma, digital health or innovation-related environments
Requirements
2–3 years of relevant professional experience;
strong knowledge of the Italian institutional and political environment;
interest in healthcare, digital health, innovation and public policy;
strong analytical and synthesis skills;
excellent writing skills, especially in drafting institutional and policy-related materials;
ability to manage multiple tasks and work across complex dossiers;
strong teamworking skills and ability to interact with different internal and external stakeholders;
good level of English;
degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Economics or related fields.
What we would particularly value
previous exposure, even at an early stage, to healthcare or pharma-related dossiers;
familiarity with lobbying activities, stakeholder mapping and policy monitoring;
a very hands-on attitude, strong attention to detail and reliability;
the ability to move comfortably from analysis to drafting and operational execution.

The ideal candidate is curious, solid, highly organized and eager to grow within a function working at the intersection of business, institutions and innovation. They should be able to understand context quickly, write clearly, grasp priorities and contribute with consistency and pragmatism to the day-to-day management of institutional and regulatory dossiers.
