About the role
Confido is building an AI-native operating system for brands that sell into brick-and-mortar retail. We’re building intuitive and powerful software paired with AI agents that help brands automate the 1000s of hours of tedious manual work that goes into scaling a brand in retail. Brands like Baskin Robbins and Olipop use our first products in accounting and planning to account for and plan for $Bs of retail revenue.
We have best-in-class growth (5x YoY), efficiency, and we’ve recently raised a $15M Series A to build on the existing momentum.
You will be on our Business Operations team and report to the Head of Business Operations.
What You'll Do:
- Leverage deep technical & CPG industry knowledge to provide strategic guidance and support to existing customers, ensuring successful adoption and optimization of our software solutions
- Partner with product development team to identify, prioritize, and define new software features based on CPG industry needs, market gaps, and client feedback
- Serve as a primary Accounting & CPG subject matter expert, translating complex business processes (cash application, deductions management, trade accruals, period close) into clear product requirements and user stories
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at leading CPG companies, acting as trusted advisor on business process optimization and technology solutions
- Drive client success initiatives including implementation support, training, and ongoing consultation to maximize software ROI and strengthen customer retention
About You:
- 5+ years in Consumer Packaged Goods with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: General Accounting, A/R Accounting, Trade Management, Trade Optimization
- Passion for being at the technology leading edge, driving automation and optimization of core CPG functions through innovative software solutions
- Trade accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of complex deductions management workflows
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- You’re both competitive and kind
- Willingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week
