The Opportunity:

We’re hiring our first Solutions Consultant to build the foundation of this function at Collectly. This role is ideal for a builder, someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, works cross-functionally, and wants to shape not just how we sell, but what we sell and how we position it.

This could be a top-tier IC ready to scale a function, or a seasoned leader willing to be hands-on as we build the team. You'll be a strategic partner to the Head of Sales; collaborating deeply with Product, Post-Sales, and Enablement to drive new revenue and improve how we communicate value.

Please note: This role is hybrid - candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area only will be considered.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Pre-Sales Excellence: Lead technical discovery, tailor demos, and act as the technical and strategic partner throughout the sales process.
  • Design Strategic Solutions: Translate business challenges into Collectly-powered outcomes that resonate with a range of buyer personas.
  • Model ROI: Develop and customize ROI models that help customers quantify value and drive urgency.
  • Influence Pricing & Packaging: Collaborate with Sales leadership to scope pricing strategies and propose solution packaging based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Build the Function: Create the foundational playbooks, demo environments, and sales assets for the Solutions Consulting motion.
  • Inform Product Positioning: Partner closely with Product and Sales to provide market feedback, refine messaging, and shape roadmap priorities.
  • Enablement & Training: Help level up the go-to-market team by training AEs, CSMs, and new hires on how to sell the product effectively.
  • Operate Cross-Functionally: Be a connective force across Sales, Product, CS, and Marketing to ensure alignment and acceleration.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years in a high-impact Solutions Consulting / Sales Engineering / Pre-Sales role in SaaS; healthcare or fintech experience a plus.
  • Experience building or scaling a solutions consulting function, ideally as an early hire who’s seen what good looks like.
  • Comfortable operating as a player-coach. hands-on now, with the opportunity to grow into leadership as we scale.
  • Strong command of solution storytelling, customer ROI, and business case development.
  • Business-savvy and product-curious, you love collaborating with Product teams as much as you do with Sales.
  • Confident presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and enjoys solving problems in scrappy, fast-moving environments.
