POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a resilient, high-energy, experienced Senior Quality Technician, with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain tool control records, calibrated test & inspection equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement. Additional responsibilities may require you to operate company vehicles to store and transport materials and products. Lastly, you must be able to perform all tasks as directed by supervisor.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing NCRs & Corrective Action Preventative Actions
Performing product inspections including in-process, final and AS9102 first article inspection to quality and safety standards across all states of production
Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and the Axiom Quality Management System (QMS)
Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes
Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications
Managing specialized inspection equipment, including maintenance, calibration, and readiness of equipment
Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
Perform additional job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 - 10+ years of inspection experience
Proven to deliver high quality results under tight deadlines
Experience with Quality Inspection Tools (CMM, PC-DMIS etc)
Workmanship experience/certifications IPC-J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, Polymerics (8739.1)
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Experience
NAS 410 / NDE experience (VT, UT, PT, ET, MT, RT)
Familiarity with ANSI/AIAA S-081A (COPV Inspection)
Familiarity with ANSI/ESD S20.20
Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
Track record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Uses good judgement to solve problems proactively, positively impacting hard challenges
Proven to deliver high quality results under tight deadlines
Core Skills
GD&T experience
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
Advance Experience with Quality Inspection Tools (PC-DMIS)
Executes priorities with precision and pace
High EQ and ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally
Tech-savvy in using systems and tools to move faster and smarter
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Requirements
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time)
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time)
