Cleanroom Logistics 5-Shift Support – Team leader
Introduction
Our Manufacturing Services – Logistics Operations department is responsible for providing professional logistical services within the Warehouse and our Cleanroom to enable manufacturing excellence. As a team we deliver service on time, with the right competency and quality. We respect each other, are proactive, enjoy working together and show ownership. As our new Team Leader you will lead a team of Cleanroom Logistics operators. Raising the level of performance with preservation of quality and simultaneously keep them enthusiastic and motivated.
Role and responsibilities
As our team leader, you will manage skill levels, coach, motivate and challeng the team members (e.g. feedback, routines, performance reviews). Moreover you will also control performance levels, set priorities, solve problems and contribute to a productive and safe working climate and define and agrees on SLA’s with (internal) customers. You will be in the lead of introduction of new processes, reports on actual performance, initiates and implements improvements.
Main Team Leader tasks & responsibilities:
People management: Manages his/her team, coaches the team members and assures required amount and proficiency of resource so that the team is at any moment capable of supporting ASML’s executing plans. Manage cooperation and harmony in the group by giving support, finding solutions and sharing information. Contributes to a productive and safe working climate and ensures the desired level of engagement and flexibility. Takes care of the day-to-day operational management. Leads by example. Ensures proper execution of HRM policies and procedures.
Daily Performance Management: Observes day to day execution. Responsible for solving issues and preventing reoccurrence
Tactical Performance Management: Define, attune, measure and reports overall SLA / performance to internal customers and staff.
Quality & Safety: Safeguard and maintain tool quality and completeness process. Ensures proper execution of Safety policies and procedures.
Improvement: Improve performance of the team and tool management processes. Initiates improvements and where required with support of the WTLO Engineers and other departments. Initiates and/or takes part in project activities related to the introduction of new processes and/or improvement initiatives
Planning: Plans on priorities as defined in SLA’s. Identifies potential bottlenecks in operations. Acts and communicates on situations with appropriate urgency and in a pragmatic way.
Education and Experience
MBO+ / HBO level (logistics discipline or industrial/business engineering)
Minimum of 3 years leadership experience (preferred as hierarchical leader, but coordinator/functional leadership is also allowed)
Experience with a dynamic working environment (many changes)
Knowledge and experience in warehousing and distribution processes is preferred
Personal skills
Enthusiastic people manager (Good interpersonal skills, motivator, team builder, coach).
Service oriented mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills
Able to think in end-to-end processes and understanding the bigger picture
Flexible work ethic (your team works 24/7 and they sometimes need you after working hours)
Ability to manage people without always having the possibility of face-to-face contact
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Other Information
A certificate of conduct (‘Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag’, VOG) is required.
The candidate will need to follow additional training and courses.
Work will partially be done in cleanroom (wearing cleanroom suit)
You will work in 5-shift schedule. The shift schedule can change over time; flexibility from the candidate is required.
