Job Mission
Shift Planning is responsible for supporting the TF Production Planning team with all logistical tasks required to meet the machine output plan (MPS).
Working in a two-shift schedule across both office and cleanroom environments, your key responsibilities include managing short-term planning activities, providing high-end solutions in case of material disturbances, aligning with stakeholders to prevent issues, and reducing lead time through ownership and a proactive attitude.
Role and responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the planning, management, and adjustment of production activities to ensure the agreed production plan is realized in the most efficient way possible.
Manages the logistics processes of the factory by initiating warehouse requisitions, monitoring progress, and minimizing logistical disturbances to protect the machine output plan (MPS).
Takes the lead as a logistics troubleshooter to maintain progress in machine build and qualification.
Acts as the primary TF troubleshooter for severe material shortages at customer sites.
Contributes as a proactive Natural Team member by providing high-impact scenarios and solutions in case of potential production delays.
Analysis and optimization: Possesses knowledge of planning parameters (e.g., safety time, safety stock) and adapts planning methods in a dynamic environment.
Actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging the job’s central position and process knowledge.
Data integrity & parameter setting: Understands and maintains material master data and system behavior, taking action in case of discrepancies.
Reporting and communication: Anticipates issues and communicates effectively with different departments (Natural Team) to resolve them collaboratively.
Education and experience
MBO or HBO degree
Skills
Positive, structured, and well-organized team player
Stress-resistant and able to plan and set priorities
Comfortable working in both office and cleanroom environments in a two-shift schedule
Motivated and creative problem solver

Other information
Context of the position
The Production Logistics organization within the Twinscan Factory manages the flow of materials from suppliers into the cleanroom.
The Production Planning department is responsible for planning all build operations within the factory.
The Production Planner Shift Planner reports to the Team Leader and works closely with specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Material Handling, and Global Logistics Services and other Production Planning departments and Natural Team.
This role offers you the opportunity to develop both yourself and the processes, and to grow with and within ASML.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
