Law | Accountancy internship: contract compliance analysis

Introduction

The Contract Management team within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement works at the heart of ASML’s supplier ecosystem in the Netherlands. This team enables transparent, accurate, and compliant agreements that support long-term partnerships. During this internship, you will help improve contract data quality and ensure alignment between agreements and operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to better business decisions and risk mitigation across the organization.

Your assignment

In this internship, you will focus on contract analysis and process support within Contract Lifecycle Management. You will start with data-driven analysis and gradually support colleagues in understanding contracting workflows and documentation. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Analyze contract data and compare agreements with system data

• Cross-reference pricing, volumes, and conditions across multiple data sources

• Identify inconsistencies and explain the differences

• Improve data accuracy in contract databases and tracking files

• Support internal audit follow-ups with clear insights and actions

• Answer stakeholder questions about contract management

• Contribute to improving contracting processes and documentation

This is a bachelor’s or master’s internship (non-thesis) for a minimum of 5 months, for 24-40 hours week (including 2–3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is projected in September 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are a bachelor’s or master’s student in law, business administration, accountancy, control or a related field

• Have strong Excel skills and enjoy working with structured data

• Are analytical and detail-oriented when reviewing complex information

• Work independently and ask clear, focused questions when needed

• Communicate clearly in English and collaborate effectively with others

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

• Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;

• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter needs to include the willingness to relocate.

• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
