
HR | Business Internship: Candidate & Onboarding Experience

Introduction
The Global Talent Acquisition Innovations & Solutions team is part of ASML’s Talent Acquisition organization and is responsible for shaping the end-to-end candidate and onboarding experience. Our mission is to provide candidates and new colleagues with the best possible experience, enabling them to integrate smoothly into ASML and be ready to make an impact from day one. We achieve this through thoughtfully designed candidate and onboarding journeys that support engagement and connection at every step. The team drives a global candidate and onboarding program, developing and co-designing solutions that contribute to an ideal experience across regions and functions.
Your assignment
During this internship, you will contribute to strengthening ASML’s candidate and onboarding experience by improving how new colleagues are supported before their first day. You will work on a globally used pre-boarding solution with the aim of making it more engaging, interactive, and impactful. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across regions and translate insights into concrete improvements that support successful integration into ASML.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Analyze the current pre-boarding experience and identify opportunities to improve engagement and usability
Translate candidate and stakeholder needs into clear improvement proposals
Design and develop content concepts that enhance the overall pre-boarding experience
Collaborate with global stakeholders to align improvements and priorities
Coordinate activities to ensure timely progress and stakeholder alignment
Validate proposed improvements through feedback and iterate where needed
Deliver a revised pre-boarding solution that supports new colleagues in being ready to make an impact
This is a Master internship (non thesis) for minimum 6 months, minimum availability of 4 days per week and 1-2 days on site. The start date of this internship is as of September 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are currently enrolled in a master’s degree in human resources management, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field
Have a strong interest in talent acquisition, candidate experience, and onboarding within a global organization
Are analytical and able to translate insights into practical, value-adding improvements
Are collaborative and comfortable working with stakeholders from different cultures and backgrounds
Show a proactive and structured way of working and take ownership of your assignment
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter needs to include the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
