Introduction to the job 

Step into a hands-on role where your technical expertise directly supports ASML’s machines at the customer site. As a field service engineer, you’ll ensure our cutting-edge systems perform at their best in high-tech production environments. You’ll play a vital role in keeping the advanced systems running that enable breakthroughs in AI, 5G, and beyond and power the technology behind everyday life. Role and responsibilities 

 

As a field service engineer, you’ll: 

  • Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots ASML advanced EUV manufacturing equipment issues at customer site. 

  • Performs installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades and preventive maintenance on ASML EUV equipment installed at customer sites. 

  • Assists customers in the receipt, installation, and testing of company equipment. 

  • Ensures that parts are available and as specified for service requirements. 

  • Take ownership for maintaining and optimizing the equipment on a daily basis to enhance functionality and proactively prevent problems. 

  • Proactively participate in the ASML Ireland Continuous Improvement Program, identifying and delivering on improvement projects/initiatives that support our local Maintenance program and demonstrate our value add to our customer.

Education and experience 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably (but not exclusively) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive, electronics, physics, mechatronics or related. 

  • You completed your education less than 2 years ago or will be fully graduated before August 2026 

  • Maximum 2 years of relevant working experience

1. Application: Apply before Monday, May 25th at 23:59h (CET). You’ll receive an update on your application, at the latest, two days after this deadline. 

2. Video interview: If selected, you’ll be invited to record your answers to a few pre-determined questions. 

4. Selection day: If you are chosen, you’ll be invited to an online day with assessed and non-assessed sessions – expected on June 18th  

5. Job offer: Shortly after the selection day, we’ll inform you if you’ll receive a job offer with a (preferred) starting date being in July / August 2026. If so, you’ll be offered a full-time position, a competitive salary, an unlimited contract with the intention of getting an indefinite afterwards, a meal allowance, a car commuting allowance to help cover transportation costs, (international) training, and more 

 

Shift work: A rotating 12.33-hour shift schedule with 3 days on / 4 days off, followed by 4 days on / 3 days off. This pattern runs for 4 weeks on day shifts and then repeats for 4 weeks on night shifts.
