Job Description

Introduction to the Role

As an EWM SAP IT Engineer, you will work within Agile Release Trains as part of a team of specialists designing and implementing technical solutions that support business and IT stakeholders. You will own the roadmap for a product or system, ensuring delivery across time, cost, and quality objectives. Acting as a technical leader and key interface with architects, you will guide development teams, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement of enterprise applications.


You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.


Role and responsibilities

  • Own and manage the application/product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and IT strategy.
  • Lead business requirements analysis using interviews, workshops, and process modeling to define “as-is” and “to-be” states.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align and prioritize conflicting requirements and drive consensus.
  • Co-design solutions with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, data-driven applications.
  • Lead development, selection, implementation, and support of enterprise application solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, including oversight of development quality, peer reviews, and co-development activities.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex incidents, driving root cause resolution and alternative solutions.
  • Define and execute testing strategies; validate solutions and ensure system performance and stability.
  • Ensure application availability and continuous improvement through data-driven operational analysis.
  • Coach and mentor team members; promote best practices, compliance, and continuous capability development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in application development or enterprise systems.
  • Strong experience with SAP/ERP systems, including EWM and complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles within application development projects.
  • Experience with change management across functional and technical aspects of enterprise systems.
  • Solid understanding of planning, analysis, design, and testing methodologies for enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting business domains such as manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Familiarity with system development tools, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Demonstrated consultative skills to analyze business processes and translate them into IT solutions.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (including at least one end-to-end implementation) and global deployments preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive decision-making in complex environments.
  • Deep functional and technical expertise in SAP/ERP systems and enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable, sustainable technical solutions.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management, including development, testing, and operations.
  • Knowledge of information security, data management, compliance, and business continuity practices.
  • Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
  • Strong documentation skills (requirements, process flows, technical specifications).
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.

Other Information

  • This position is located on-site in Wilton, CA .  It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
