[Cymer Korea] Field Service Engineer (신입 채용)

Introduction to the job

As a Field Service Engineer, you play a key role in helping ASML achieve its mission to unlock the potential of technology for the benefit of society. By joining our Customer Support department, you contribute directly to the productivity and satisfaction of our customers. You help maintain the most advanced semiconductor equipment in the world, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. Your work as a Field Service Engineer makes a real difference to the future of electronics and supports ASML’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Role and responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality support to customers. You solve challenges, foster teamwork, and create positive experiences for those who rely on our technology.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues at customer sites using logical troubleshooting steps.
• Install, maintain, and repair ASML systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and colleagues, keeping everyone informed of progress.
• Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work environment for all.
• Document actions and findings accurately to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and drive customer success.
• Participate in training and development to stay updated with the latest technologies and processes.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field (2026년 8월 졸업 예정자 가능)
• Technical knowledge & related experience of electronics / Laser and vacuum/ optics and/or semiconductor manufacturing equipment is preferred.

Skills

• Fluent speaking and writing skills in both Korean and English.

• Communicates clearly and concisely with stakeholders.

• Good at multi-tasking and hands on skills.

• Proactive, fast-learner and strong ownership for solving issues.

• Understanding of customer service environment with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.

• Prefers experience using the following software packages: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LabView, Internet Protocol, and Computer Networking

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
