GTM Systems Architect
Job Description
About Applied Intuition
We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced GTM Systems Architect to join our Revenue Strategy & Operations team and own the architecture design of our go-to-market tech stack. In this role, you will report to our Director of Revenue Operations & Strategy and partner closely with sales, marketing, finance and accounting, legal, and customer success teams to design and implement scalable solutions that power our growth.
You will work at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, translating complex GTM requirements into robust system configurations and integrations. You don't need to be a developer, but you do need to be deeply fluent in how business systems work together. This is a hands-on and high-impact role where you'll directly influence how our teams engage with customers and drive revenue.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Own the design and roadmap of our GTM tech stack, ensuring systems are well-integrated, scalable, and aligned to business needs as we grow
- Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and other GTM tools (marketing automation, data warehouses, product analytics, customer success platforms, etc.)
- Define and enforce data governance frameworks, data models, and quality standards across the GTM ecosystem
- Identify and implement AI-driven solutions across the GTM process from eliminating manual workflows and automating operational bottlenecks to building standalone tools
- Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate, select, and onboard new tools or solutions while assessing fit, integration complexity, and downstream impact on reporting and operations
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure reliability and scalability as the organization grows
- Create clear documentation and enable cross-functional teams on how systems work, how to use them, and where to go when things break
We're looking for someone who has:
- 6+ years of experience in GTM systems, revenue operations, or business systems architecture
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce as a platform, understanding the data models, configuration capabilities, and integration patterns
- Experience designing or governing integrations between CRM and adjacent business systems (ERP, marketing automation, CPQ, CS platforms, data warehouses)
- Strong grasp of quote-to-cash processes and how financial systems like NetSuite connect to GTM workflows
- Track record of translating ambiguous business requirements into clear system design decisions and cross-functional alignment
- Experience working closely with sales, marketing, finance, IT, and legal stakeholders and able to credibly represent system decisions in business terms
- Proficiency with designing data flows, reporting structures, and connecting operational data to business decisions
- Knowledge and experience with other GTM tools like Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Xactly, DocuSign, Marketo, Clari, etc.
Nice to have:
- Experience working at a high-growth startup
- Familiarity with deployment tools (Change Sets, Salesforce DX, Gearset) and version control concepts
- SQL proficiency and experience with BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, Looker) or data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001) and security best practices
