The Junior Warehouse Clerk for Products Division is is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in warehouse operations. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, the Junior Warehouse Clerk supports day-to-day receiving, shipping, inventory, and material handling activities that keep Voyager’s operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn The position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is part of the Operations Department. This role is On-Site based in San Diego, CA.

In this role, the essential functions are:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of materials, parts, and equipment, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments in compliance with shipping regulations, customer requirements, and program schedules.
  • Enter inventory transactions into warehouse management systems (E2 JobBoss and NetSuite) as directed, supporting real-time stock accuracy.
  • Participate in cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits; report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor for resolution.
  • Operate, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Assist with allocation, material staging, and kitting for active programs; communicate material needs and status updates to team members as directed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with 5S standards and company safety policies.
  • Assist with the identification and disposition of non-conforming, surplus, or obsolete materials.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse throughput, accuracy, and efficiency.

  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. 0–1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labor experience preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
  3. Basic computer skills required; familiarity with warehouse management systems such as E2 JobBoss or NetSuite a plus
  4. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn warehouse processes and documentation standards.
  5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
  6. Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  7. General knowledge of warehouse operations and safety compliance.
  8. Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some exposure to a manufacturing, distribution, or regulated work environment a plus.
  • Basic awareness of compliance or regulatory requirements in a work environment a plus.
  • General knowledge of warehouse operations and safety compliance.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a warehouse operations environment

Additional requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; this position may require access to export-controlled information.

The good faith base hourly rate for this role is $16.00–$23.00 per hour at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
