Operations Analyst (Scenario Design), Discovery
Job Description
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Lattice Showcase team at Anduril delivers immersive experiences that tell cohesive, compelling stories about how Anduril products accomplish critical missions. Leveraging Sand Table—our internal 3D visualization platform that transforms data into interactive augmented reality environments—we translate complex demonstrations into streamlined, interactive showcases for government and military leaders. We work across multiple product lines—integrating capabilities from autonomy, hardware, and software—to craft narratives that align all stakeholders around mission outcomes. Our work bridges engineering simulation and compelling storytelling: we take real-world demos running in simulation and transform them into polished, interactive experiences that showcase how our technology delivers mission success. As a cross-functional team of designers, operators, and integrators, we combine technical depth with narrative craft to demonstrate the full potential of Anduril's capabilities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Scenario Designer on the Lattice Showcase team, you will craft compelling and operationally credible demonstrations that showcase Anduril's technology solving real-world defense challenges. You will work closely with product teams, subject matter experts, and military stakeholders to design, implement, and refine mission scenarios that align technical capabilities with customer needs and mission outcomes. Your work will translate complex, multi-product demonstrations into clear, engaging narratives optimized for decision-maker audiences—balancing technical accuracy with storytelling that resonates.

- Gather and incorporate feedback from military stakeholders and internal executive leadership to refine scenario designs
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure scenario authenticity and operational relevance
- Partner with program managers to ensure scenarios align with mission priorities, meet deliverable milestones, and support business development objectives
- Contribute to the development of scenario design frameworks and best practices that enhance team effectiveness
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 2+ years of professional experience in scenario design, mission design, level design, or operations analysis for games, interactive simulations, or defense applications
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario/mission/level design work for interactive applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear design documentation and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Analytical skills for scenario balancing and iterative design
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine, or modeling and simulation tools
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
