Job Description
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril’s Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) is a division who's mission is to build highly capable autonomous drones. We transform products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from early concepts into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. TRS hires individuals, who are excited to build across a diverse and powerful portfolio of autonomous aerial systems. Our teams contribute to highly capable autonomous robotics systems and propulsion products that operate reliably in the most demanding mission environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) division is seeking a highly experienced and exceptionally driven Supply Chain leader to serve as our Head of Divisional Supply Chain. This is a critical, standalone hire designed to be both a strategic leader and a highly hands-on operational executor capable of stepping into challenging situations and driving immediate, measurable impact. We are looking for a leader who can thrive in ambiguity, build structure from scratch, and stabilize and scale our operations. You will be instrumental in laying foundational processes and systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Head of Divisional Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations across the TRS division, with a dual focus on internal operational infrastructure and the external supplier ecosystem. Your primary objective will be to build a scalable, disciplined, and predictable supply chain capable of supporting long-term production growth and increasing customer demand. In the role you can expect to:
- Strategic Leadership & Execution: Drive overall supply chain strategy, acting as a strategic leader and hands-on "operational firefighter" to identify breakdowns, drive accountability, and execute solutions that support rapid growth and increasing operational complexity.
- Operational Infrastructure & Process Building: Evaluate and build internal operational infrastructure, tools, systems, and processes from scratch, including developing SOPs, repeatable workflows, and performance metrics across business lines to ensure scalability.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Establish strong inventory controls, enhance warehouse operational rigor, ensure material traceability, and drive accuracy through improved reconciliation, tracking, and cycle count discipline to prevent production disruptions.
- Supplier Management & Strategic Sourcing: Own end-to-end supplier strategy, including qualification, performance management, risk mitigation, and cultivating strategic partnerships. Vet, develop, and invest in both domestic and global suppliers to ensure accountability, alignment, and scalability.
- Planning & Forecasting: Significantly strengthen operational planning, demand forecasting, and material readiness, transitioning from reactive to proactive systems. Enhance cross-functional coordination and long-lead material visibility.
- Financial & Resource Management: Manage the financial levers of the supply chain, optimizing resource allocation and driving operational efficiency to maximize production scalability and execution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership in aerospace & defense, or composites manufacturing
- Strong background in manufacturing, with experience in Defense, Aerospace, Automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments highly preferred.
- Deep expertise in Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, Supplier Management, and Planning/Forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to build operational processes and infrastructure from scratch in environments lacking existing structure.
- Experience with both domestic and global supply chain strategies, including vetting suppliers at a local level.
- Exceptional cross-functional influence and communication skills, comfortable partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Finance, and Business Line Leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA or Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
- Previous experience in implementing ERP systems as they relate to supply chain (ex., supplier portal, warehouse management system...etc.).
- Proven leadership leading large teams in driving and influencing other teams to a common goal.
- Strong team player who can wear different hats to help your team move forward. Willing to tackle individual contributor tasks while managing a small team.
