Job Description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Deployments Team manages the coordination and execution of fielding Anduril’s hardware and software products worldwide. Working across Product, Engineering, Growth, Business Development, Technical Operations, and Mission Operations, Deployments oversees forward logistics, site installation, maintenance & repairs, field inventory management, sustainment and reverse logistics. The team is central to ensuring effective customer and mission success, shaping the future of Anduril’s defense solutions.

The Head of Finished Goods & Deployments Warehousing’s role will be to build and lead the function responsible for all finished goods warehousing and fulfillment operations. Reporting within the broader Mission Readiness organization, this role will own the end-to-end strategy for finished goods inventory management, pre-deployment staging and preparation workflows, outbound fulfillment, spares and maintenance stock management, test site inventory management, and returns for deployed assets.

This leader will oversee both Warehouse Operations and Material Flow Engineering for the outbound and fulfillment side of Anduril, developing best practices that can be replicated globally as Anduril opens new facilities. The right person for this role combines deep operational expertise in finished goods distribution with the strategic vision to build a scalable, world-class warehousing function from the ground up. You will need to operate with urgency, think globally, and drive continuous improvement across people, process, and systems — all in service of getting mission-critical hardware to the warfighter on time, every time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive finished goods warehousing and fulfillment strategy that aligns with Anduril’s deployment objectives and scales across multiple domestic and international facilities. Understand the future deployment growth outlook and ensure the organization, infrastructure, and processes are in place to support it.
  • Functional Ownership: Lead the Finished Goods & Deployments Warehousing function end-to-end, including warehouse operations, material flow engineering (outbound/fulfillment), pre-deployment staging and preparation, spares and maintenance stock management, and returns.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily warehousing and fulfillment operations, ensuring efficient material handling, storage, kitting, configuration, picking, packing, and domestic/international shipping with rigorous attention to FIFO, serialized/lot traceability, and government property accountability.
  • Global Best Practices: Develop, document, and deploy standardized SOPs, workflows, and best practices for finished goods warehousing that can be replicated as Anduril opens new deployment facilities globally.
  • Team Building & Development: Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team spanning warehouse managers, material flow engineers, and warehouse associates. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and accountability.
  • Inventory Management: Implement end-to-end finished goods inventory management measures—including cycle counting, physical audits, material variance tracking, scrap/obsolescence management, and government-furnished property compliance—to ensure inventory accuracy and readiness for deployment.
  • Systems & Technology: Evaluate, implement, and optimize ERP, WMS, and related systems to drive accuracy, traceability, and throughput. Leverage data and analytics to provide visibility into warehouse performance and support decision-making.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs for warehouse and fulfillment health—cycle time, order/line throughput, capacity, utilization, pick/pack accuracy, on-time ship, and inventory accuracy—and drive accountability against targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Deployments Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Growth teams to ensure accurate forecasting, deployment planning, and timely execution of material receipts and shipments.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and manage warehousing budgets, identifying opportunities to reduce cost while maintaining or improving service levels and quality.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (including ITAR/EAR, export controls, and government property regulations), safety standards (OSHA), and quality control protocols (AS9100) across all finished goods warehousing activities.
  • Scaling & Growth: Prepare the organization for hyperscale growth—designing warehouse layouts, material flows, and staffing models that support a transition from low-volume to high-rate deployment operations across multiple sites.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain management, with a strong focus on finished goods operations.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing teams of warehouse professionals, including managers and supervisors.
  • Proven track record of building, scaling, or transforming warehousing operations across multiple sites.
  • Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and emerging technologies in logistics and distribution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with the ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma principles and experience implementing them on the floor.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support multi-site operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, MBA, or related field.
  • Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry, particularly with government-furnished property, serialized inventory, and ITAR/EAR-controlled materials.
  • Experience standing up new warehouse or distribution facilities from scratch—site selection, layout design, staffing, systems implementation, and go-live.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping documentation, export compliance, customs, and freight/carrier coordination.
  • Experience managing high-value, serialized, or government-furnished property/inventory.
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the handoff between production and finished goods.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
  • Experience ramping operations from low volume to high rate production and deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to command a room and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive diverging stakeholders to alignment.
