## Job description

****Job Description:****

The Modelling and Simulation Department is responsible for delivering simulator products, software and hybrid benches to both internal and external customers. These simulators support the development, validation, and operational activities of space business assets, primarily satellites. The department is the reference in simulation for the Space business within Airbus, serving all missions: Earth Observation, Space Exploration & Science, Telecommunications… and working across all home countries.

Each numerical simulator is composed of the following elements:

- Core components:
    - **The Simulation Core Product**: provides an engine and a framework for the simulation.
    - **Onboard Computer Model**: virtualized, functional or emulated model capable of running the real flight software.
    - **Generic components & models**: communication‑bus models and common satellite equipment (battery, solar panels, …).
    - **Space Dynamics & Environment model**
- Project specific:
    - **Specific satellite-equipment models**
    - **Satellite Payload model:** responder, functional or emulated model (capable of running the real payload software).

All these elements are integrated according to the satellite architecture and engineering database. The simulators are then encapsulated into a hardware bench, secured virtual machine or virtual container before delivery.

By joining the TSEAS organization, you will contribute to the space business by:

- **Developing and maintaining software** such as the simulation core product, the emulators or satellite-equipment models
- **Integrating, validating and deploying** these systems: software integration, configuration and validation. Potentially, system integration, deployment and simulator protection
- **Supporting** users and customers
- **Contributing to roadmaps and proposals**.

### **Mandatory Technical Skills:**

- **C++** development of complex software
- Software anomaly analysis and debugging
- VCS: Git, Gitlab
- Build tools: Ant, Maven…
- CI: Gitlab CI/Jenkins…
- OS: Linux

### **Ideally, you will also possess knowledge in some of the following areas to complete your profile:**

- Java, Python, Eclipse RCP, EMF
- Real Time and Embedded systems
- Communication data buses
- Software/Hardware integration
- Simulation and Modelling
- Validation of critical systems
- DevSecOps
- Virtual Machines, Containers and OS hardening
- IT infrastructure and networks, including cybersecurity-related aspects
- Software Product cybersecurity: anti-reverse-engineering, anti tampering…
- Software compilers

### **Job Qualifications**

### **Education:**

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Aerospace Systems, or a related field (or demonstrated strong professional experience in the required topics). A Master's degree is a plus.

### **Experience:**

- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in **industrial software development**, ideally for critical-mission systems. Preferably, you can justify an overall software development experience of more than 4 years.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (preferably defense, aerospace, or government) is highly desirable.

### **Skills & Competencies:**

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- High degree of autonomy; ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- User- and client- oriented mindset, understanding their needs and constraints.
- Advanced proficiency in both French and English is required.

This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for a clearance by recognized authorities.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
