About Us

Temporal is an open source programming model that can simplify code, make applications more reliable, and help developers focus on the important things like delivering features faster. If you have a passion for improving the developer experience, building world-class open-source software and communities, and want to be a part of our amazing team, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role

Come help us build the foundation for international growth at Temporal! In this role, you’ll join our Employee Experience team to help create an engaging and inclusive experience for Temporal team members around the globe. This position will be based in the United Kingdom and will report to the Manager, People Operations.

We’re looking for someone to help scale the systems, processes, and programs that support our growing international workforce, especially across international People Operations and benefits programs. This role will help with the establishment of international entities, providing regional support to our growing population.

What You'll Do

  • Support employee inquiries with timely, thoughtful responses, triaging appropriately and driving issues to resolution across regions.
  • Continuously refine key moments in the employee experience, including onboarding, leave administration, offboarding, and employee lifecycle changes, ensuring they work well across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of onboarding, from pre-start logistics to first-week programming, helping each new hire feel welcomed, equipped, and connected from day one.
  • Support international People Operations execution, including building and documenting scalable processes for new countries/entities as the company expands.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to help administer and improve international benefits programs (e.g., enrollment workflows, employee communications, eligibility tracking, and ongoing process improvements).
  • Support employee lifecycle changes (new hires, internal transfers, role changes, separations) and maintain accurate employee records across People systems.
  • Oversee and track employee leave requests and approvals, maintaining accurate records in leave management systems and ensuring processes reflect local requirements where applicable.
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks including training administration and reporting, documentation, audits, and ad hoc projects to ensure consistent recordkeeping and regulatory alignment across geographies.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in People Operations, People Generalist, or People Coordinator roles; well-versed in People operations, compliance, and People systems.
  • Experience supporting teams across multiple countries or working with international stakeholders, vendors, or region-specific processes (benefits, leave, onboarding logistics, or compliance).
  • Passionate about people and process, with strong attention to detail and an understanding of how operational quality impacts the employee experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with global partners, provide regular updates, and drive timely resolutions.

Compensation

Compensation ranges are based on role level and job-related knowledge. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
