Who We Are

Taiv is a fast-growing tech startup located in Winnipeg, Canada. Taiv uses AI to make business TV more fun, engaging, profitable, and easier to manage, starting with bars and restaurants. We've built proprietary tech that uses computer vision to watch live TV and improve the content with contextually-aware commercials, content, and games. Our tech also automates the manual AV tasks that venues have to do every day, to make bar management easier, standardized, and more profitable. We're venture-capital backed and graduated from Y Combinator, the world's top tech accelerator, in winter 2020. We are looking for an Account Executive to join our sales team!

What We're Looking For

At Taiv, we’re transforming how bars and restaurants engage their guests through smarter, more interactive TV powered by AI. We’re looking for a driven, outgoing sales professional to join us as an Account Executive. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth, building relationships with venue owners, and showing them how Taiv can make their business more engaging and profitable. Your work will directly fuel our expansion and help shape the future of in-venue entertainment.

Who You Are

  • You love talking to people and building relationships

  • You’re social with an outgoing nature

  • You thrive in fast-paced, startup environments

  • You’re self motivated, organized, and competitive

  • You’re comfortable cold-calling and finding creative ways to connect

  • 1-2 years of direct sales or customer-facing experience (hospitality or tech sales preferred)

  • Located in Winnipeg or willing to relocate

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000 base + uncapped commission (OTE $60,000 – $90,000) + stock options. Further breakdown on compensation takes place during the interview process.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate: Winnipeg, MB: can reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
