Job Description
Intercept is in the business of building trust in transactions among CPG brands, distributors, and retailers (CPG = Consumer Packaged Goods). Our goal is to make the movement of goods as seamless as possible.
Job Summary
As one of the first employees at Intercept, you will work in person directly with the founders, a team coming from MIT, Wharton, Waymo, and Wayfair. Your work will span the full depth of our technical stack - creating new data pipelines, web automations, and user interfaces, building LLM-powered tools for data extraction and workflow automation, and turning customer feedback directly into new features and products.
We’re looking for someone who is excited about increasing the pace of innovation within physical products, enjoys interacting with and building for people outside of tech, and wants to build a product that’s solving real business problems for real businesses that desperately need it. You’ll learn how to build highly-advanced AI-powered tools for an industry that is severely lacking in technology, a skillset which will become increasingly valuable as society moves closer to AGI.
Expect the experience to be both difficult and fun. We work very hard, and we will expect the same from you.
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional coding skills and the ability to ship high-quality code quickly
- Strong product ownership and the ability to deliver end-to-end features
- Comfortable working across the entire stack, spanning frontend/backend/data pipelining
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in our tech stack: Next.js, Typescript, Python
- Experience building LLM applications
- Actively leverages AI in their software development workflow
- 2+ years of experience shipping high-quality production code
- Enthusiasm for working on real-world, messy problems at the intersection of bits and atoms
