We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Regional General Manager (RGM) to lead the full business
performance of Rappi in Ciudad de México. This role combines commercial leadership, operational excellence,
and people management to drive sustainable growth across all business pillars. The RGM is empowered to act
as the ultimate owner of the region’s performance, making strategic and data-informed decisions with a high level
of autonomy and accountability.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

Accountable for the success, performance and KPIs of around 23 Ops Zones in Ciudad de México, managing
directly the commercial team: City Manager, KAMs and Hunters.


1. Business Leadership & Regional Ownership
● Serve as the final decision-maker across commercial, operational, financial, and talent matters within
the region.
● Align local strategies with Rappi’s national and global vision.
● Own the full P&L and prioritize ROI-driven decisions to maximize margin contribution and long-term
sustainability.


2. Performance Management & Acceleration
● Lead Ciudad de México to top-tier performance using City Sequencing metrics:
○ Quality of service
○ Assortment depth
○ Affordability & RappiPro penetration
○ Sustainable growth across user cohorts
● Monitor and improve key operational KPIs: order cancellations, inefficiencies, and fulfillment metrics.


3. Commercial & Strategic Execution
● Personally lead high-impact negotiations with top merchant partners on promotions, co-investments,
and advertising.
● Design and execute pricing and promotional strategies customized to local user behavior and
competition.
● Launch assortment and activation strategies in key zones to accelerate demand and user engagement.
● Execute and validate pricing experiments at a zone level to measure impact and scale results.


4. Cross-Functional Leadership

● Lead and inspire high-performing, multidisciplinary local teams (Growth, Ops, Marketing, Commercial).
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration.
● Translate central initiatives into localized actions with speed and impact.
● Co-create communication strategies to maximize offer visibility: banners, push notifications, ads, etc.


5. Analytical & Strategic Decision-Making
● Conduct deep data analysis to justify investments and prioritize initiatives.
● Build business cases for growth initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
● Track competitive dynamics, user behavior, and merchant performance to adjust local strategy.

Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?

Experience:
○ 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in commercial leadership roles.
○ Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and leading business units
end-to-end.
○ Experience in both fast-paced startups and structured corporate environments is a plus.


● Education:
○ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
MBA or graduate studies are a strong plus.


● Skills:
○ Strong data analysis and business modeling capabilities.
○ Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
○ Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
● Language:
○ Bilingual (Spanish and English), B2–C1 level required.
