Job Description

Role Overview

As a Founding Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle — from first touch to close.

You’ll work directly with the founders to close high-value deals, shape the sales motion, and define how this category is sold.

This is a builder role, not just an executor role.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle: outbound → discovery → demo → close
  • Close mid-market and enterprise deals ($20K–$100K+ ACV)
  • Build and manage your own pipeline (inbound + outbound)
  • Partner with SDRs and founders to drive pipeline generation
  • Run consultative sales processes around SEO, content, and AI search
  • Help define messaging, positioning, and sales playbooks
  • Work closely with product to provide customer feedback and influence roadmap
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline in CRM
  • Consistently hit and exceed quota

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–6 years of SaaS sales experience (MarTech, SEO, or growth tooling a plus)
  • Proven track record closing $20K–$100K+ ACV deals
  • Strong closer mentality — you know how to create urgency and drive decisions
  • Comfortable selling a new, non-obvious category
  • Highly competitive and motivated by revenue and commission
  • Strong communication and storytelling ability
  • Thrive in ambiguity and move fast without perfect structure

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to marketing, growth, or content teams
  • Experience in SEO, content marketing, or analytics tools
  • Startup or early-stage company experience
  • Experience working closely with founders or building GTM motions
