Forward Deployed Engineer (GTM & Product)
Job Description
Role Overview
This is not a traditional Customer Success role.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll embed directly with customers and own outcomes — not just relationships.
You will actively operate Relixir for customers:
driving content strategy, identifying opportunities, launching campaigns, and improving AI search visibility.
You are part strategist, part operator, part consultant.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end success for a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market customers
- Embed with customer teams (marketing, growth, SEO) as a trusted operator
- Develop and execute GEO (AI search) and content strategies using Relixir
- Identify keyword gaps, AI visibility opportunities, and competitive insights
- Launch and optimize content across customer CMS environments
- Monitor performance across AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)
- Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive traffic, leads, and revenue
- Drive adoption of Relixir across customer teams and workflows
- Identify expansion opportunities and partner with sales to grow accounts
- Capture customer feedback to influence product roadmap
- Build case studies and success stories from real outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- 2–6 years in SEO, growth, content marketing, or customer success
- Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, or demand generation
- Ability to turn data into actionable insights and execution plans
- Highly proactive — you don’t wait for instructions, you drive outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers
- Analytical and metrics-driven mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B SaaS or martech
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, etc.)
- Experience with content production or CMS platforms
- Exposure to AI search, LLMs, or prompt engineering
- Agency or consulting background
Why Relixir
- Own customer outcomes — not just check-ins
- Work directly with founders and product team
- Be on the frontlines of a new category (AI search / GEO)
- High impact role tied directly to revenue and expansion
- Equity in a high-growth, YC-backed startup
- Build expertise in one of the fastest-growing areas in marketing
Who This Is For
This role is for someone who wants to:
- Actually drive results (traffic, pipeline, revenue), not just manage accounts
- Work directly with customers and influence strategy
- Operate at the intersection of AI, content, and growth
- Be early at a company defining a new category
If you want a traditional CSM role focused on check-ins and renewals, this isn’t it.
If you want to build, operate, and drive impact, this is.
