
Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Growth Marketing Lead to build qualified inbound for Maven Bio, the market intelligence layer for life sciences AI.
We want a growth system that uses AI to raise both quality and output. You will use AI tools, Maven's data, and your own taste to ship GTM experiments across thought leadership, paid and performance marketing, social, webinars, events, and targeted campaigns.
Your job is to create resonance with senior life sciences buyers and turn that attention into qualified pipeline.
About Maven Bio
Maven Bio is a 10-person seed-stage team in Boston building the market intelligence layer for life sciences AI. Three of the top 10 pharma companies are onboarded, and we have 20+ enterprise accounts across pharma, consulting, and investing. Customers report a 40% reduction in low-level analytical work.
We are growing fast and heading for a Series A. Our buyers are senior BD, CI, Strategy, and Investing leaders. This role owns sourced and influenced inbound pipeline that complements our existing outbound motion.
Role Focus Areas
- GTM experiments. You design, launch, and measure creative plays for a narrow, high-trust market. Examples include targeted paid campaigns, customer-specific landing pages, LinkedIn distribution plays, conference activations, niche newsletter sponsorships, webinar funnels, and analysis-led lead magnets. We want you to bring ideas we have not thought of.
- Thought leadership. You help turn Maven analyses into content our ICP wants to read and share: indication landscapes, cross-trial comparisons, asset screens, conference abstract roundups, deal flow analyses, and customer stories.
- Paid and performance marketing. You run paid experiments with clear hypotheses, tight audiences, strong copy, and honest measurement.
- Distribution and events. You own how Maven Bio shows up across LinkedIn, webinars, conferences, and small-format events. You help the founders and team amplify the right ideas, then build follow-up motions that turn attention into meetings.
- Pipeline operations. You capture and route the leads your work generates, keep our CRM up to date, hand qualified leads to sales with context, and track which channels generate pipeline.
Qualifications
- Builder mindset. You ship without waiting for permission. You have personally launched campaigns, content, events, or experiments.
- AI-native. You use AI tools every day to move faster with high quality. You want to build a modern growth machine from scratch instead of copying the legacy demand-gen playbook.
- Strong writer with good taste. You can write clearly for a demanding professional audience. You know the difference between useful thought leadership and marketing noise.
- Growth-oriented. You care about qualified pipeline and can explain how your work created meetings, opportunities, or revenue. You are comfortable with paid and performance marketing, and you do not reduce marketing to ads.
- Life sciences fluent or a fast learner.
- Comfortable in public. You are willing to post, host webinars, engage with prospects, and build a following inside a focused ICP.
- Startup-fit. You want ownership, pace, and a steep learning curve. You operate with high intensity while maintaining a high quality bar.
