### **About InferEdge**

InferEdge builds AI agents that do the work of research analysts, portfolio managers, risk managers and product analysts at investment firms. Funds managing billions of dollars run them in production and pay us for the results.

### **How we deliver**

A client gives us work their team does by hand today. We build an AI agent that does it, and the client pays for the result. The agent has to be right on their real data, every month.

Everything we deliver runs on four foundational capabilities: agents, plugins, data pipelines and an evaluation framework. You will be responsible for building foundational capabilities and strengthening existing ones.

### **What you'll build**

You'll go deep on at least one of these systems and work across the rest.

-   **Agents.** They do analyst work on financial data. Making them reliable is the hard part.
-   **Plugins.** MCP tools and specialised skills that give an LLM access to market data and knowledge.
-   **Data pipelines.** 100+ sources, 1M new data points a day and 5M+ documents.
-   **Evaluation framework.** Finds agent failures, tracks performance and uses past failures to improve the agent.

Stack: Python, Postgres, Airflow, AWS and Kubernetes.

### **What we're looking for**

-   2+ years building backend systems, ideally at a startup
-   Strong system design: you can plan data models, think through what can fail, and explain your trade-offs
-   Ownership: you take a vague problem to production and keep it running
-   Comfort with large codebases and many moving parts
-   Python, SQL, and experience with AI-first development, or a strong interest in it

### **Location and compensation**

-   Location: Mumbai, work from the office
