Job Description
The Opportunity
Healthcare has a supply problem. There aren't enough nurses, patient educators, or care coordinators to meet the needs of a growing, aging population. Hippocratic AI exists to close that gap — building safety-first AI voice agents that extend the reach of healthcare, so more patients get the support, guidance, and follow-through they deserve.
As Head of the Hippocratic AI Academy, you’ll build the learning infrastructure that makes all of it work in practice. This isn’t a training program bolted onto a product — it’s the mechanism by which healthcare organizations learn to deploy AI safely, confidently, and at scale. You’ll define what "good" looks like for AI voice agent enablement across the industry, shaping how patients experience care and how clinicians trust technology to extend their reach.
What You'll Accomplish
You'll build the industry's benchmark for safe AI enablement in healthcare. You'll design and scale a world-class Academy — curriculum, certification, delivery formats, performance measurement — that becomes the standard other organizations aspire to.
You'll give healthcare organizations the confidence to deploy AI that actually works. By partnering deeply with clinical, product, and customer success teams, you'll develop training that reflects how AI voice agents operate in real care environments — not just in theory.
You'll create a knowledge infrastructure that compounds over time. You'll architect a unified knowledge management system so that as the platform evolves, every stakeholder — internal and external — stays current, capable, and confident.
You'll build and lead a team that defines what great looks like. You'll recruit and develop specialists in learning design, instructional technology, and knowledge management, and create a culture where rigor, creativity, and patient safety go hand in hand.
Responsibilities
Define and own the Academy strategy — scope, curriculum, delivery formats, certification pathways, and success metrics
Develop training programs for external client organizations covering safe AI voice agent deployment, monitoring, and governance
Lead internal enablement — onboarding and continuous education for Hippocratic AI team members as new features and capabilities ship
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Clinical Safety, Voice Design, Customer Success, and Services to ensure training reflects real-world workflows and safety requirements
Architect and govern a centralized knowledge management system — documentation, best-practice guides, reference materials, and version control
Define and track KPIs for adoption, readiness, and safety outcomes; translate data into actionable program improvements
Evolve programs continuously as the product, regulatory landscape, and clinical best practices change
Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of learning designers and knowledge management specialists
Manage budget, tooling, and operational infrastructure for the Academy
Represent the Academy internally and externally as a champion of safe, effective AI adoption in healthcare
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, healthcare, communications, or a related field
10+ years of experience building and scaling learning, enablement, or training functions — ideally in a B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, or highly regulated environment
Demonstrated success designing and delivering programs that drive measurable behavior change and adoption, not just content completion
Experience leading and developing teams of learning and content professionals
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you know how to work with technical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders simultaneously
Proven ability to develop and govern knowledge management systems at scale
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where the product and requirements are still evolving
Clear, compelling communication skills — written, verbal, and visual
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in instructional design, healthcare, organizational learning, or a related field
Experience in healthcare or clinical settings, or working directly with healthcare organizations as clients
Background in AI, conversational AI, or voice technology products
Familiarity with clinical safety frameworks, regulatory compliance, or healthcare governance
Experience building certification or credentialing programs
Proficiency with modern LMS platforms, knowledge management tools, or learning analytics
What You'll Love About Hippocratic AI
The mission is the strategy. Every curriculum you build, every certification you issue, every knowledge article you publish exists to make AI safer and more effective in healthcare. The work is meaningful — and measurably so.
You'll work with people who take hard problems seriously. The team here brings genuine depth — clinical expertise, AI research, enterprise software, and healthcare operations — and a shared belief that the hard path is usually the right one. Cutting corners isn't in the culture.
You'll have real creative latitude. There's no playbook for what you're building. You'll be drawing on insights from instructional design, healthcare training, enterprise SaaS enablement, and AI governance — and translating them into something new. That's the job.
The upside is real. Early-stage equity, meaningful ownership over a function that directly shapes company trajectory, and the chance to build something that didn't exist before — that's the opportunity here.
Ready to Apply?
If you've spent your career figuring out how to make complex, high-stakes knowledge genuinely stick — and you're ready to do that at the intersection of AI and healthcare — we'd like to hear from you.
