Software Engineer | Embeddables
Full-Time | Remote Position | Argentina
About Embeddables
Embeddables is the most advanced AI-powered platform for building funnels, dynamic landing pages and other parts of the D2C healthcare customer journey. Our flagship product is a CLI-based builder that lets developers and teams use AI to construct flows that educate and help the user make an informed choice — and we’re actively expanding our product suite to new levels.
We were founded by Matthew Morley and Jeremy Evans, and went through Y Combinator in Summer 2018. Matt and Jeremy have spent more than 10 years working together on a shared mission to make online experiences more useful, more educational and fairer for users. The co-founders kept pushing through dozens of pivots in survival mode for several years until finding the product and market that we serve today. We’re proud to now be a profitable, ~25-person company powering over a million end-user journeys per week.
We’re a profitable, fast-growing startup with a proven track record and a clear vision of what comes next. Our stack is deeply AI-integrated — from our rendering engine running on Cloudflare Workers at the edge, to our analytics, experiments, and data pipeline products. You’ll join a tight engineering team of five, working closely with our Head of Engineering and founders who still ship. When you consider risk vs. reward, there has never been a better time to join Embeddables.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a mid-level Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a tight-knit engineering team of 5 engineers. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work on our most complex technical challenges and ambitious product initiatives.
We’re a startup — which means we move fast, we care deeply about quality, and we expect everyone on the team to be proactive, energetic, and solution-oriented. We need someone who understands the balance between speed and craftsmanship in dynamic, ever-changing environments and who brings real solutions to real problems.
Communication and clarity are core values on our team. We believe that a high-trust, high-transparency environment is what enables us to do our best work together.
Growth Path
We take progression seriously. Here’s what we expect and what you can expect from us:
- After 30 days: Ramped on core parts of our stack via our 'paired planning' system, shipping independently, and contributing to both code quality and team AI workflow evolution.
- After 3 months: Fully ramped up on our entire stack, owning team code quality (with oversight from the Head of Engineering), and deeply involved in evolving the team’s workflows.
- After 6 months: Taking ownership of core parts of the codebase and actively participating in deployment to production alongside the Head of Engineering.
Engineering at Embeddables
- We work AI-first — and we mean it. In 2026, we expect every engineer on the team to use AI as a core part of their daily development workflow: not just the basics like writing and reviewing code with agentic tools like Cursor, collectively building an AI machine that we orchestrate instead of doing tasks ourselves. We’re looking for someone who not only embraces this fully but brings fresh ideas to make our team more effective and efficient every day.
- We're not afraid to lean heavily into new technologies where it makes sense, and we optimize for modern, powerful tooling that can fit across multiple parts of our stack. Our entire rendering engine and more runs on Cloudflare Workers at the edge. We’re heavy users of Supabase, Vercel, and Clickhouse.
- Everything we write is in TypeScript.
- We have a high emphasis on code quality, best practices, and consistency. We believe this saves us time in the long run — but we also know when to move fast. Managing this balance effectively is key to working on our team.
What You’ll Work On
- Building and using agentic AI workflows deeply integrated into our product experiences.
- Improving and then owning team-wide code quality across the board.
- New products currently in development, expanding the Embeddables platform.
- Complex platform architecture and strategy questions that will impact our product's value down the road.
- Infrastructure and deployment pipelines — including taking shared ownership of production deployments.
- Our AI-powered CLI builder — the core product that lets teams build dynamic experiences with AI.
Requirements
Must-haves:
- Proven, hands-on experience building with AI workflows — specifically using Cursor or equivalent with agentic workflows in real production environments. You should be able to speak concretely about how AI tooling is part of your day-to-day development process, not just to write code for you but to do all tasks with you as an orchestrator.
- Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals, with a deep understanding of component architecture and performance.
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities — you break down complex challenges methodically and arrive at well-reasoned solutions. When a discussion gets stuck, you can help unstick it by returning to first principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional English fluency. You can articulate technical decisions clearly and keep stakeholders aligned without hand-holding.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership end-to-end, while maintaining proactive communication and transparency with the team.
- Rigorous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality — you take pride in your work and hold yourself to a high standard even under fast-moving conditions in an AI-first world.
- Actual startup experience — you need to be comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment where requirements evolve and good judgment matters.
- Excited to work on designing the kinds of products and platforms that never could have existed before the age of AI.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience as a DBA or working with database infrastructure — schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and managing production databases.
- Experience with edge computing (Cloudflare Workers) or similar serverless environments.
- Familiarity with Supabase, Vercel, or Clickhouse.
- Experience implementing AI features natively within products (not just consuming APIs).
