Job Description

About Cozmo

The US P&C industry pays $650 billion in claims a year and loses $120 billion of it to fraud. Most of that fraud happens at the property in the first hours after a loss, while a contractor is on site and before the carrier knows a claim exists.

Cozmo's AI lives on the contractor's phone. When a homeowner calls after a loss, Cozmo handles the intake, logs the job and dispatches the team. When the crew photographs the damage on site, the AI generates a line-item repair estimate from the photos and files the claim directly with the carrier, all within hours. The carrier receives a complete, timestamped, AI-verified record before an adjuster is scheduled and before fraud has been embedded in the estimate. That record has never existed in this industry.

The $46 billion TPA market is currently attacked one way: from the carrier down. Companies ask for a book of claims to manage, build adjuster networks and grind through licensing. Cozmo builds in the opposite direction. We start at the contractor. By the time we enter a carrier conversation, we already hold the verified loss record for every claim in our network. The TPA's core function has been performed in real time by AI, before the carrier opened a file.

We're backed by Y Combinator, with 1 million+ calls in production, Allianz as an early insurance partner, additional insurers live in multiple markets, and two of the top five US restoration franchises onboarding now. Five years from now, every pricing model in P&C runs on data from the contractor's phone. Cozmo is the only company building that dataset at the source.

Right now our pipeline runs on founder sweat. We want it to run on agents.

You'll build the systems that do the top-of-funnel work a sales team usually grinds through by hand: finding the right accounts, enriching them, writing outbound that doesn't read like a template, routing inbound, scoring leads and surfacing the five accounts worth a call today. Anthropic has a role shaped exactly like this. We want our version, owned end to end by one person who can both ship the code and read the deal.

And when a prospect needs to see what Cozmo does for their specific problem, you build a working agent pointed at it and stand it up in days. No slide deck stands in for that.

What you'll do

  • Build the agent stack that powers our own GTM: prospecting, enrichment, personalized outbound, lead scoring, inbound routing and CRM hygiene that maintains itself.
  • Stand up custom proof-of-concept agents for live deals, fast, so a buyer watches their own workflow run before they sign anything.
  • Wire our tools together (CRM, email, calendar, Slack, our own platform) into workflows that strip manual steps out of the sales motion.
  • Instrument all of it. Know which messages book meetings and which ones die, then kill what doesn't work.
  • Sit between sales and engineering and translate cleanly in both directions.
  • Find the bottleneck in the funnel each week and remove it.

Who you are

  • You ship. You've built real things that real people use, and you can point to them right now.
  • You're fluent enough in code to build agent workflows solo. Python, APIs, LLM orchestration, all the glue in between.
  • You think commercially. You understand why a deal moves or stalls, and you care about the number first while keeping the build clean enough to move fast.
  • You're a hustler. Cold outreach doesn't faze you. Neither does an empty page or a vague brief.
  • You're relentless. When something breaks at midnight, you fix it that night. Done means it works in production, nothing softer.
  • You're smart in the way that compounds. You pick up a new tool over a weekend and ship with it on Monday.

Nice to have

  • You've worked at or near a fast sales team and know the tooling (Clay, Instantly, HubSpot and friends).
  • You've built with agent frameworks or multi-agent orchestration.
  • You've sold something hard, or built something that sold itself.

The deal

  • A direct line to both founders. You'll work next to the people closing the deals.
  • Real ownership of the function that decides our weekly movement.
  • Competitive base plus meaningful equity. We pay for people who move the number.

If this is you, send us the best thing you've built and one line on why our funnel is your kind of problem. Skip the cover letter.
