## Job description

**Location** · London, in person 4–5 days a week  
**Type** · Full-time  
**Compensation** · £70,000–£85,000 salary and 0.01%–0.1% equity

At Arva AI, we build AI agents for critical banking operations, from customer onboarding and screening to transaction monitoring and investigations. Our users work through dense information and make decisions that matter. We want the interfaces they rely on to feel clear, intuitive and carefully considered.

### About the Role

As a Product UI Designer, you’ll bring exceptional visual craft to Arva’s platform. You’ll work with product and engineering to make existing workflows clearer, shape the visual direction of new features and build reusable patterns that raise the quality of what we ship.

### What You'll Do

-   Design and refine interfaces across Arva’s platform, with close attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour and interaction.
-   Work through complete journeys, including loading, empty, error and validation states. Make dense information easier to scan and act on.
-   Build and evolve our design system, from foundational components to reusable patterns. Work with engineers to keep the component library consistent in production.
-   Explore visual directions, explain the trade-offs and refine designs through feedback.
-   Stay involved through implementation and release, reviewing the built experience for accessibility, usability and visual quality.

### What We're Looking For

-   A portfolio of shipped digital products that shows strong UI craft, clear information design and attention to detail across complete flows.
-   A modern, restrained visual aesthetic and the judgement to simplify complex workflows while preserving the functionality users need.
-   Experience creating or extending reusable components and working within a design system.
-   An iterative approach and clear communication with designers, product managers and engineers.
-   Around 1–2 years of experience in UI, UX or product design is a guide. We care most about the quality of your work and what you owned. SaaS or design engineering experience is a plus.

### What We'd Love to See

Share two or three case studies from real products you helped ship. Show the complete journey, the visual directions you explored and the details you refined. Tell us what you owned, what constraints shaped your decisions and what changed by the time the work shipped. Include live links or high-resolution screens where you can.
