Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven and articulate Technical Recruiter – Talent Partnerships to lead the matchmaking process between our graduating engineers and hiring partners, while also managing internal hiring needs at Algouniversity. This is a dual-facing role requiring comfort with both external partnerships and internal scale-up.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring teams (CTOs, Engineering Managers, Talent Leads) at partner companies to understand open roles and tech hiring needs.
  • Recommend, match, and coordinate interviews for the right talent from Algouniversity’s job-ready engineer pool.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for our candidates—from shortlisting to offer rollouts and joining.
  • Collect structured feedback from hiring partners and use it to iterate on talent readiness and matchmaking.
  • Coordinate closely with Algouniversity’s placement and curriculum teams to align hiring outcomes with training quality.
  • Lead internal hiring efforts across engineering, design, product, and ops roles at Algouniversity.
  • Design and execute recruitment campaigns to attract top talent to our internal team.
  • Maintain organized candidate pipelines and use recruitment tools effectively for both internal and external hiring.
  • Represent Algouniversity at hiring events and recruitment forums.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in technical recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Deep understanding of tech roles, engineering skill sets, and what top-tier talent looks like.
  • Confident communicator who can engage with both external tech leaders and internal hiring managers.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple open roles—across internal and external recruitment.
  • Structured and proactive, with high ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced YC-backed startup.
  • Previous experience in EdTech, talent platforms, or high-growth startups is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern recruitment tools and systems is a plus.
