Project Manager, Service Transition
Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to support high-impact internal system initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency and enterprise platform alignment. This role partners with C-level stakeholders, Finance, Operations, Technology teams, and external vendors to ensure structured governance, cross-functional alignment, and successful program execution.
As part of the broader Project Management organization, this position will lead client onboarding and other strategic initiatives as business priorities evolve. The ideal candidate is a disciplined, solutions-oriented project leader who thrives in both internal and client-facing environments.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned initiatives, ensuring alignment to scope, timeline, budget, and defined outcomes.
- Establish and maintain structured project plans, milestones, and governance standards to drive execution discipline.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external vendors, providing clear reporting and decision support.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to protect delivery.
- Oversee client onboarding engagements, including kickoff, implementation oversight, transition to support teams, and successful stabilization.
- Ensure thorough documentation, knowledge transfer, and formal project closure upon completion.
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and lead structured, outcome-focused discussions.
- Strong organizational discipline with the ability to drive clarity, accountability, and alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience managing complex initiatives in fast-paced environments, including coordination with third-party vendors and system integrations.
- Ability to balance internal operational priorities with client-facing project delivery.
- Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required. PMP or comparable certification preferred.
